Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for the process of blending and receiving various raw materials while adhering to all applicable regulations and compliance policies within the department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
- Batch product and complete all documentation in support of production.
- Load and unload incoming tanker trucks.
- Acquire operational knowledge of blending and fluid transfers.
- Maintain awareness of Blending Center/Production issues affecting output, quality and yields.
- Manage the process to transfer fluid to bulk storage or packaging lines.
- Inspect work areas, tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions; and follow up with necessary repairs and resolution procedures.
- Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform operator maintenance on blending equipment and troubleshoots and notify maintenance of needed equipment repairs.
- Maintain inventory and other information, when necessary, by climbing and gauging tanks and sampling product.
- Ensure compliance adherence regarding all safety/quality programs; ISO, LOTO, PSM, OSHA regulations, etc.
- Must follow strict safety rules.
- Will work overtime as needed.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
