Job Description
Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services on company-owned light- and heavy-duty vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and DOT-compliant operation. This position focuses primarily on routine maintenance such as oil changes, inspections, fluid services, and minor repairs, with an emphasis on minimizing vehicle downtime and supporting overall fleet efficiency.
Required Experiences:
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Strong working knowledge of light- and medium-duty trucks (e.g., Ford F-150, F-250,F-350 or similar)
- Experience with oil changes, inspections, lubrication services, and routine fleetmaintenance
- Familiarity with DOT inspection and maintenance requirements
- Ability to identify mechanical issues and recommend corrective action
- Proficient in using maintenance software or electronic vehicle inspection systems
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required, unless specified)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
