The Janitor performs assigned janitorial tasks as it relates to that particular job location. This includes but not limited to general cleaning (restroom, offices, break rooms, production floors, others as assigned), buffing, scrubbing, and ability to perform basic tasks of vacuum, sweeping and mopping.
Responsibilities
- Performs all general required tasks as directed by Supervisor
- Performs assignments according to company schedule and as expected by customer
- Performs janitorial tasks based on defined scope of work and site location needs. These are performed to published schedules and within explained guidelines. These tasks often include the following:

- Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed
- Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables
- Vacuum all carpeting
- Spot clean soiled areas when needed
- Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
- Clean counters, mirrors and fixtures
- Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant
- Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
- Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
- Replenish and organize cleaning supplies as needed and directed by Supervisor
- Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs
- Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances
- Clean sinks and mop tile floor
- This position may also perform light duty maintenance including but not limited to;

- Painting
- Changing of light bulbs
- Set up and/or tear down for special events
- Forklift operation
- Snow removal
- This position is Monday -Friday.
- Works effectively individually and with a team
- Attends periodic training and safety meetings
