Job Description
Duration: 06 months Contract
Location: De Soto, KS 66018
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Position Summary
While working in a climate controlled warehouse, this position will perform a variety of warehouse activities. Primary duties will be picking and/or packing products to be shipped to US customers. This may include storing, handling, preparing for shipment and documenting hazardous materials/waste. Other activities include unloading, storing and loading materials in the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks and dollies. Performs record keeping, ensuring the accuracy and condition of delivered materials while adhering to company policies, procedures and governmental regulations.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2–4 years of direct warehouse experience required
• SAP experience highly preferred
• Forklift operation experience required
• Experience picking and packing orders
• Good working knowledge of computer systems
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to operate forklifts and other common warehouse equipment
