Job Description
Position Summary
The Residential Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and completion of residential electrical projects from bid award through final inspection. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining exceptional customer relationships and compliance with all applicable electrical codes and company standards.
The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, field crews, suppliers, and leadership, ensuring Elite Electric’s reputation for excellence is upheld on every home.

- Manage all phases of residential electrical projects — scheduling, materials, labor allocation, and cost tracking.
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to identify scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop accurate takeoffs and verify material orders meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with homeowners, builders, general contractors, and inspectors to ensure smooth project flow.
- Supervise field crews, including journeymen and apprentices; ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Track labor hours, productivity, and job costing using company CRM/project management tools.
- Approve timecards, manage change orders, and ensure all work complies with the NEC and local code.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress, identify issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Participate in estimating and preconstruction planning as needed.
