Job Description

We operate a general farming system - working with corn, soybeans and sorghum. Our fertilizer and ground work starts in February. Our harvest, grain hauling and fall fertilizer wraps up in December. Employees will assist with ground work, planting, spraying, spreading manure, applying fertilizer, harvesting with combine and chopper, and hauling grain and silage to storage location. Employees will also assist with farm maintenance and repairs. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial trucking is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Housing is provided.  Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered.  Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
