Position Summary:
As an ER RN at Labette Health, you will be a vital part of our emergency team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive under pressure and are passionate about critical care.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients of all ages
- Rapidly assessing and prioritizing patient needs in acute situations
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records
- Responding to trauma and code situations efficiently
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Kansas or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- One year of emergency or critical care experience preferred not required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
