Job Description

Hours: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, Must be flexible to work on weekends as needed

We are searching for reliable candidates for our Inventory Control Specialist position. This role will require candidates to have a valid driver's license, their own vehicle, and a smart phone. All candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, operating smartphone apps, and communicating with other workers or drivers. This is a temporary role for a company in Birmingham, MO.

Inventory Control Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review passed on updates from previous shift and conduct perimeter checks once an hour
- Stay awake and alert for full shift
- Collect paperwork and notate what is coming/going from lot (must check verification before allowing anyone on lot)
- Use scheduling application to confirm your schedule and additional team members on the same lot
- Hit button to open and close gate; follow lot specific procedures; specific procedures are located in the Post Order binder in the Post Position #1 at main gain
Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company, personal, or customer vehicle, following traffic laws and safety policies
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report any issues
- Ensure safe employee entry/exit and follow assigned routes
- Maintain a clean vehicle and report incidents promptly
Passenger Responsibilities
- Follow safety guidelines, including wearing a seatbelt
- Enter/exit safely and assist with directions if needed
- Avoid distractions and report unsafe conditions
- Be prepared to move vehicles upon arrival

Inventory Control Specialist Requirements:
- Ability to sit for entire shift, stay awake, and walk around lot
- Must have own vehicle to use during full shift
- Valid driver’s license and able to pass an MVR background check
- Have a Smart/Android phone to download mobile applications that are required
- Customer service experience preferred
