Job Description
Continental Divide Builders, LLC is seeking to fill positions for Structural Steel Installer - Entry Level at its 3600 Thomas Court, Apt B-3, Lawrence, KS 66046. This is a temporary, full-time peakload position and we are looking to fill twenty (20) job openings for employment from May 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027.
Duties: Install pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) under supervision of a foreman/superintendent. Perform duties including: unload, stage, and move PEMB materials and components; assist with layout/positioning/aligning and securing (bolt-up) primary and secondary structural steel (columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracing); install insulation; install roof panels, wall panels, flashing/trim and related components; perform measuring, marking, and cutting of panels/trim as needed; install closures/fasteners and sealants per manufacturer specs; maintain work area and materials; follow site safety rules and wear required PPE; work from ladders/scaffolds and aerial lifts; may operate boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift only after employer-provided safety/operation training. No licensing required. No tools required; employer provides all tools/equipment. Position is non-supervisory.
Travel will be required to multiple cities and towns within the MSA in order to perform job duties.
Anticipated Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday: 8:00am to 6:00pm; TOTAL – 60 hours; Overtime rate will be given for hours over the standard 40 hours per week.

Terms and Conditions of Employment: $26.97/hour; Overtime will be provided at time and half which is $40.46/hour.
Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
Tools, equipment, and supplies: The employer will provide workers with all tools, supplies and equipment to perform the job at no charge.
On-the-Job Training Available: Workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned.
Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The pay period is weekly. The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. Employer will not provide workers with board, lodging, or other facilities. The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
