Job Description
We are a custom harvesting business that travels from TX to ND and back to KS harvesting crops. We operate Case IH combines and Peterbilt semis. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: canola, corn, grain sorghum, wheat. Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 4 workers to begin April 1 and 1 worker to begin Sept 1.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
