Job Title: Hotel General Manager

Job Summary:
Comfort Inn & Suites Salina is seeking an experienced and hands-on Hotel General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the management team, and ensure excellent guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, controlling costs, maintaining brand standards, and creating a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales
- Ensure compliance with Choice Hotels brand standards and audits
- Manage budgets, forecasting, P&L, and cost controls
- Maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through effective revenue management
- Handle guest concerns and ensure high guest satisfaction scores (Medallia/guest surveys)
- Hire, train, coach, and develop department managers and team members
- Ensure proper staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll controls
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance standards
- Prepare reports and communicate performance to ownership/management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant GM
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience with Choice Hotels brands preferred (Comfort Inn & Suites a plus)
- Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Choice Advantage preferred)
- Strong financial, budgeting, and revenue management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
