Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure organized and clean work area
- Assemble components using hand tools, rivet squeezes and other equipment
- Applying sealant to assemblies
Skills Required
- Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, drawings
- Experienced using adhesives and sealers
- Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the job
- Capable of mixing sealers
- Visually distinguish differences in parts
- Exercise good housekeeping practices
- Self-motivated
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Benchtop Assembly in aerospace shop
- Experienced at countersinking and installation of rivets
- Experienced at reaming close toleranced holes
- Proficient at reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints
