Job Description
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as picking up bales; Service, clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as swather, rake, baler to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, wheat; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Speak and understand English.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
