Job Description

We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of our crop production including the tilling, planting, raising, and harvesting of wheat, corn, soybeans and hay. Employee will be expected to help in the process of preparing the ground for planting soybeans. This includes running a tractor with an implement through the soil to prepare it to be planted. The employee will also help in the process of planting soybeans including running a truck and trailer with bean seed to the planter operator. Employee will be expected to help in the process of planting corn. Running a truck and trailer with corn seed to the planter operator. Help in the maintenance of the farm equipment used to plant the corn. Employee will be expected to help in the process of harvesting wheat, corn and soybeans then hauling the wheat, corn and soybeans harvested from the field to the grain bins. Employee will help in the maintenance of the tractors, combines and trucking equipment used to harvest and haul the wheat, corn and soybeans. Employee will need to complete routine maintenance and repairs on the tractor, truck, trailer, and planter. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Housing is provided.  Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered.  Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
