Job Description

We need a seasonal employee to tend to our farming operation where we grow Corn, Sorghum, and Soybeans. Employee will need to till and spray ground before planting season starts. Employee will need to plant crops and care for all aspects of the crops during the growing season. In the fall employee will need to harvest and haul harvested crops from field to storage. Job duties will include: repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, clean equipment or facilities, harvest agricultural products, operate farming equipment, and prepare land for agricultural use. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Housing is provided.  Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered.  Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
