Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager

Job Description

As a member of our Personal Lines Team, you are responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

· Maintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.

· Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel, while also recognizing and satisfying carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.

· Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, and addressing proper exposures for policy rating.

· Completing coverage reviews and gap analysis.

· Review and process all cancellation notices according to agency procedures.

· Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s strategies.

· Obtain and maintain all required documentation, including but not limited to signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage, and confirmation of bind orders.

 

Qualifications

· Hold current, active Property & Casualty Insurance License in the state of Kansas

· Minimum of 3 – 5 years of insurance account management experience

· Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry

· Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction

· Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel

· Impeccable attention to detail
