Job Description
As an Express Lane Technician, you will be responsible for completing oil changes and tire rotations, and inspecting vehicles for necessary repairs or maintenance. This is an entry-level position and requires no prior experience. We will provide training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations on a variety of vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for necessary repairs or maintenance
- Communicate with service advisors about a vehicle's needs
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Complete all training, paperwork, and necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Punctuality and consistent work attendance
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and improve skills through training and hands-on experience
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment, free from unlawful harassment or discrimination
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for up to 9 hours
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to bend, kneel, and squat, and use either or both arms for reaching in all directions. High grip strength, neck flexion and extension, and cervical rotation.
