Job Description
Prepare equipment and grounds. Load and unload agricultural chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, fertilizer, planting seed and other farming inputs. Drive trucks to transport farming inputs or farming equipment to fields. Service and maintain trucks and grain handling equipment such as conveyors and elevators. Sweep floors and keep grain and soybean handling facilities clean and organized. Learn about all applicable agricultural chemicals, fertilizers and herbicides used to apply to fields and how to safely handle them. Adhere to all company safety procedures.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
