Job Description
Crops: Beans, Corn, Hard red winter wheat, Milo
Responsible for mixing product(s) to be sprayed and completing the task of spraying, safely and efficiently. Obtain and maintain all required applicator certifications. Obtain and follow the scheduled list of products(s) to be sprayed on specific fields. Perform pre-operating check of sprayer and all application equipment. Utilize all equipment technology to effectively apply chemicals, fertilizers, and manure. Efficiently and effectively operate sprayer in the field. Transport equipment as requested. Clean sprayer and all equipment as needed. Follow all SOP's and safety guidelines. Communicate with supervisor regarding equipment repairs and technology needs. Complete and submit all required paperwork.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
