Job Description
Metal-Fab, Inc. is seeking a candidate for a 1st shift CAD Technician. This position is responsible for bills of materials, drawings, and routers and maintenance of ECR’s on all products.
Duties Include:
- Generates submittal drawings from sketches in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Creates programs for new and existing products using current software applications.
- Maintains a continued discipline of experimenting with new software for increased detail to drawings such as 3-D rendering.
- Demonstrates proficiency in 3D modeling software.
- Develops a recognized proficiency in generating parts from finished dimension sketches.
- Maintains a level of accuracy to meet quantitative objectives.
- Develops a recognized proficiency to estimate time required to complete tasks assigned.
- Maintains existing drawings and bills of material that are routed through the ECR channel.
- Supports engineers and designers through a variety of tasks; quickly and accurately update/correct drawings during design process.
