Description:Summary: Provides professional nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, post partum, and nursery units according to established procedures.
Education Requirements: Associate's degree (A.D.N.) from two-year college or Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N.) from a four year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas. Gives evidence of possessing the experience of a licensed nurse on a staff level. Preferably has at least two years of successful practice in nursing. Preferably previous labor, delivery, post partum and nursery experience. If no experience must complete on the job training.
Required Certifications: CPR; NRP; Basic fetal monitoring; advanced fetal monitoring; Intermediate fetal monitoring; STABLE (optional)
