Job Description
Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Operate harvesting machines to harvest crops. Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drive truck to transport produce to elevator or storage area. Drive truck to haul harvesting machines between work sites. Service machinery and make in-field repairs & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
