Job Description

Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment (combines, farm tractors, farm trucks) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain/repair machinery. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops include: corn, wheat, and milo Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next day's work. Must have ability to obtain a non-commercial class A driver's license. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). 

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals and will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

Employer will provide one or more vehicles to adequately transport the number of workers requested. Available vehicles may consist of pickups (capacity of 2 - 6), cars (capacity 2 - 5), SUVs (capacity of 5 - 7), or vans (capacity of 10+). Due to the nature of farming, the availability/types of vehicles may change frequently.
