Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across all branch locations and contact center, ensuring an exceptional member experience, strong operational efficiency, and compliance with credit union policies. This role leads branch teams, drives performance, fosters a member-focused sales culture, and implements strategies to support growth and member satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Lead and support our teams across four branches and a contact center, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional member service, and a member-focused sales culture. You will:

  • Manage Operations: Supervise branch and contact center staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee daily branch and contact center functions, including teller, member service, and call center activities.
  • Team Development & Culture: Model and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and member-first service. Foster professional growth through training, mentoring, and coaching of branch supervisor staff.
  • Drive Member Experience & Sales Culture: Support teams in resolving complex inquiries and reinforce relationship-based sales across all channels. Train & develop branch staff to identify opportunities to assist members with additional products and services, reinforcing a member-focused sales culture.

Who You Are

You are a natural leader who thrives on coaching teams, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service. You:

  • Have 5+ years of retail banking or credit union experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Communicate clearly, lead by example, and foster teamwork.
  • Have a proven track record of fostering a sales-focused, relationship-driven culture.
  • Are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing operations and security protocols across multiple locations, including the contact center.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a credit union environment.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and branch/contact center operations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
