Job Description
Immediate opening for commercial HVAC/R service technician/ Installer and some restaurant repair background in the Kansas City area. Would prefer someone with the following skills. Must be reliable, motivated, and willing to work.
Applicants need to have a valid driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the previous 5 years. The technician will be required to pass a background check. After hours and weekend hours will be required during on call time frame. Overtime hours are often available if the applicant is interested (in addition to the on-call rotation). Knowledge of computer programs and tablet use. Minimum 5 years of service experience. Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. without assistance on a regular basis. ESCO or EPA refrigerant handling certification required. Applicants should be proficient in soldering, brazing, charging systems, diagnosing issues with HVAC/R equipment and installation of new equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintains record keeping requirements and written reports as part of a daily routine.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve repairs.
- Experience in the repair, replacement and adjustment of commercial units and refrigeration units.
- Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment and refrigeration equipment.
