Job Description
Responsibilities:
Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspection using sampling plan, AS9100 system
standards, engineering drawings/specifications and general quality inspection criteria
Identifying defects, document nonconforming product, and communicate nonconformances to
Supply Chain and Quality
Visually indicate inspected product status
Accurately record inspection activities, as required, utilizing the Company’s ERP system.
Perform inspection by utilizing measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gage,
and scales.
Handle customer supplied products with care.
Manage time appropriately and respond quickly to all inquiries so that production, quality, and
delivery schedules are met.
Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process to ensure true cause has been
established and corrected to prevent any reoccurrences.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in implementation of process
improvements.
Ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is
current.
Assist in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes
using Syteline to ensure timely resolution.
Participates in 3rd Party audits as necessary
Maintain an “Ultra C-Lean” working environment by following proper work procedures, ensuring
a clean work area, and confirming, at the beginning and end of each shift, that the work area
has an accurate inventory of tools.
Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to safety officials or Quality
supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
