Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and/or project/process management of new and current projects, products, programs, components, tools, and acceptance equipment under technical guidance of higher-level technical experts.
  • Investigates and develops electrical test methods and utilizes internal and/or external laboratory services to support product acceptance.
  • Performs detailed analysis of failed components to identify the root cause, documents findings and creates reports for stakeholders, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future failures.
  • Analyzes test data trends, develops new analysis methodologies, and provides feedback to design and manufacturing teams.
  • Data Evaluation: interprets and analyzes complex datasets, communicates insights to stakeholders, develops and maintains data systems, and ensures data quality and accuracy.
  • Develops test procedures and performs routine to moderately complex engineering evaluation tests, product and process capability studies, quality audits, product or project data reviews, and other engineering evaluation work.
  • Conducts audits, analyzes processes, products, and inspection records to anticipate, identify, and correct problems and to establish quality levels and trends.
  • Utilizes data to define and recommend new or improved quality processes to assure product quality and resolve processing, inspection, and design problems.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to assist in resolving moderately complex, development, production, and acceptance issues.
  • Prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, makes recommendations for and initiates improvements for product.
You Must Have
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time 
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering or Physics  
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities. 
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business 
  • United States Citizenship 
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
