Job Description
Responsibilities
- Intern program working out of Foot Locker’s Junction City, KS Distribution Center.
- Interns will work closely with team members and leaders to develop an understanding of how Foot Locker’s Supply Chain operates.
- Support the execution of daily operations by learning different roles and responsibilities within the supply chain
- Learn how to problem solve, lead and motivate a team, conduct real-time observations, and drive results.
- Taking initiative to seeking out opportunities for growth and development; continuously learn throughout the internship experience
- Demonstrate a willingness to take risks; step out of your comfort zone and take on new assignments
- Foster an inclusive, diverse, safe, and secure culture
- Gain an understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen
- Working with supply chain leaders each day to set goals and expectations
- Maintaining a high standard of quality/accuracy through standardization of processes while also ensuring employee accountability
- Tracking various KPI’s to identify gaps, and drive actions in order to maintain consistent performance
- Provide new ideas and recommend solutions for business or team opportunities
- Data entry, reporting, and conducting business analysis
- Working with various supply chain systems
- All other duties as assigned
