Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role is vital for supporting day-to-day business operations and providing management with the data needed for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collection, reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Maintaining all account receivable records, including waivers, sales tax, tax exemptions,
- Analyze accounts receivable aging report to optimize cash flow and reduce the outstanding days.
- Oversee customer inquiries such as statement and invoice copies, lien waivers, and credits.
- Handle collections of outstanding balances not paid within terms of invoice.
- Provide occasional support to administrative department and accounts payable when assigned.
- Distribute mail to the correct departments.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, or general education degree (GED) or other certification/degree.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous accuracy is crucial to prevent errors.
- At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook along with 10-key and basic computer knowledge.
- Prefer previous experience with ERP System, FeneVision and Sage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills: The capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain organized records.
- Integrity: Handling confidential financial and employee information requires a high degree of trustworthiness and ethical conduct.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Prefer Professional certifications like a Certified Bookkeeper (CB).

- Sitting for prolonged periods of time in a cubicle with office noise.
