Job Description
Summary:
Quality Inspectors assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing and inspection practices and systems; validating processes and providing accurate documentation. These positions will drive continuous improvements throughout the facility through disciplined problem-solving techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for accurate entries into AS9102 reports inside of Net-Inspect.
- Will ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is current.
- Utilize the Company’s ERP system as needed to accurately capture inspection activities.
- Will read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. This includes assembly prints.
- Will operate hand held gages including calipers, micrometers and scales.
- Will be required to accurately populate quality assurance documentation using industry terms and definitions.
- Assist in RMA and MRR processes to ensure timely resolution.
- Will participate in 3rd Party audits as necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the office and inspection areas.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, and enforce compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Handles customer supplied product with care.
- Maintain and reinforce ORIZON’s quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Manages time appropriately so that production, quality and delivery schedules are met.
- Interacts professionally with co-workers and vendors, understands internal customers, and strives to maintain good relations with others.
