Job Description
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Paralegal will assist the Legal Department and the Company by providing support services including document preparation and review; research, fact checking, and other services.
Responsibilities- Independently reviews, drafts and negotiates NDA's and standard contract terms and conditions.
 - Independently manages corporate governance activities, including preparation and filing annual reports and drafting board & shareholders minutes.
 - Independently drafts business documents including routine contracts, affidavits, resolutions, policies and procedures.
 - Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources.
 - Develops, maintains, and organizes legal files, databases, and contract management systems.
 - Maintains intellectual property portfolio with outside counsel oversight.
 - Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves files; ensures legal department files are maintained and destroyed in compliance with record retention policies and procedures.
 - Assists with litigation support.
 - Assists department with transactions.
 - Develops and maintains records regarding hours spent on specific matters.
 - Performs general administrative support and other related duties as assigned.
