Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST POSSES a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)- Class A or Class B, maintain a clean driving record, and be knowledgeable of all safety regulations. This role involves operating a dump truck to transport materials t various locations while ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport construction materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and concrete to designated sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order and in compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and government regulations (including OSHA and DOT)
- Accurately record and maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate timely and efficient deliveries
- Load and unload materials which may involve using hydraulic levers and other vehicle controls.
- Report any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management immediately
- Keep vehicle clean and well maintained.
