Job Description
Join our team as an Assembly Technician where you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and structural assemblies. You will work closely with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, and install aircraft components per customer requirements.
- Identify nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes.
- Work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to ensure quality standards.
- Complete required data gathering to facilitate assembly progress.
- Set up and operate various shop equipment including squeezes, drill motors, and countersink cutters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, continually looking for process improvements.
- Perform rework or changes as needed during the assembly process.
- Assemble major components of sub-assemblies and smaller bench work assemblies.
- Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies.
