Job Description:Our client is seeking a Maximo Consultant with robust functional expertise to join their team. This direct hire position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and enhance Maximo capabilities for the company. The role is based in Wyandotte County, known for its excellent amenities and convenient commuting options. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transitioning from a contractor-heavy model to a robust, in-house Maximo team, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency and system optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Maximo users, handling issue resolution and system enhancements to meet dynamic business requirements.
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to the Maximo team, promoting best practices and fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on Maximo functionalities, preparing detailed reports and presentations for management review.
- Utilize project management principles to oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholder groups.
- Collaborate effectively with both functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for system optimization and leading the implementation of strategic enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in IBM Maximo, with a deep understanding of its functional modules such as Asset Management and Service Management.
- Proficient in Maximo v7.6, including workflow creation, configuration, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Experience with BIRT reports, SQL, Oracle databases, and TOAD.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and version control tools like GitHub or SVN.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with all levels of management and staff.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other web-based applications.
Pay Range: $140K - $150K Annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
