Job Description

To ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities and equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The maintenance employee will support daily operations by minimizing downtime, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and contributing to a clean, organized, and well-functioning work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must be able to effectively troubleshoot and make necessary repairs on plant equipment

· Performs diagnostic troubleshooting on electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC’s brazing furnaces expo-thermic generators and mechanical equipment

· Make necessary repairs on the above systems, machinery and tools

· Perform or preventative maintenance on the above systems

· Follow prints, sketches, and schematics for installation of newer, rebuilt equipment

· Welding

· Tear down and overhaul equipment components such as, but not limited to: pumps, valves, regulators, and motors

· Maintain building and facilities

· Complete required reports and other documentation on assigned work or inspections

· Observes all Safety policies and procedures

· Keeps workstation in order

· Supports team object

· Must have a strong understanding of mechanical components and how they work in conjunction with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

· Must be flexible in working different shifts and be able to work a weekend schedule as needed

· Must be able to work overtime as needed
