Job Description
- Certified Parent Peer Support – This position consists of helping parent’s access new resources and practice new skills in the community for their children. Assist parent with education in identifying and effectively managing or avoiding identified precursors or triggers that result in functional impairments with their child. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and self-identifies as a person with lived experience in raising a child with Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), or co-occurring mental health diagnosis and meets the State of Kansas qualifications for Certified Parent Peer Support. Selected applicant will receive training and support in becoming certified through the State of Kansas. This position is full time with some weekend hours expected. Starting wage is $40,000/year -$19.23/hour.
