Position Summary: Responsible for all recruiting and staffing functions for a designated region in collaboration with hiring managers. Responsible for sourcing top talent for exempt and non-exempt roles, and ensuring timely, cost-effective hiring through effective recruiting strategies in alignment with RCB Bank’s Standards of Service.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conducts the staffing functions for assigned branches and support departments, including job requisition and posting process; recruiting, screening, and interviewing; selection; employment screenings; and communication with the candidate and manager during the onboarding process.
  2. Participates in job/career fairs and networks with area schools, tech centers, colleges and universities to create awareness among students about careers with RCB Bank.
  3. Collaborates with HR Business Partners to assist with turnover analysis and the development of retention strategies.
  4. Assists managers with departmental job structure and succession planning as needed.
  5. Communicates issues and status updates to the Talent Operations Manager.
  6. Performs all job functions while adhering to federal and state regulations, company policies and procedures, and in alignment with RCB Bank’s Standards of Service.

 

Experience Required:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Recruiting or Human Resources
  • Strong understanding of federal laws and policies that regulate hiring practices
  • Proven experience working with various levels of management
  • Experience with Dayforce a plus

Job-Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic clerical and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to be professional and tactful when communicating opposing or difficult information
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally, and externally
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, employees and all levels of management
  • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion within area of expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with successful results
  • Willingness to attend classes, seminars, or meetings for the purpose of strengthening knowledge and skill sets needed within the Human Resources profession, specifically relating to recruitment, hiring practices, onboarding, and retention
