Smart 3D Developer - DUTIES: Identify opportunities to reduce overall engineering costs and improve end user performance. Review backlogs item and gaining inputs related to items that are opportunities for development. Analyze any new engineering requirements from stakeholders. Review engineering requirements with the development team based on inputs received from planning meetings. Discuss and evaluate engineering options for each development item by priority. Evaluate any risks involved with respect to existing engineering projects and standard project prototypes. Send scope documents to stakeholders for review, feedback, suggestions. Generate complex Reports & Labels using Smart Plant 3D Automation COM & .NET API and SQL queries. Create and configure complex Orthographic Drawings, Isometric Drawings and related components including View styles, Graphic, Label, Dimension Rules, Isogen Pre Processor Creating user instructions on usage of new engineering functionality. Configure and develop rule-based specifications & catalog for Piping, Electrical, Equipment, HVAC tasks in Smart Plant 3D. Troubleshoot and Configure Rule Checker rules, Command line task runner rules and custom commands that process and compute 3D objects using Smart Plant 3D Rule Checker and Command Line task runner service.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience. Also, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) create and configure complex Orthographic Drawings, Isometric Drawings and related components including View styles, Graphic, Label, Dimension Rules, Isogen Pre Processor, Complex Reports & Labels using Smart Plant 3D Automation COM & .NET API and SQL queries; (2) ability to troubleshoot and provide customized solutions to Smart3D issues related to Piping, Electrical, Equipment, HVAC tasks, Administering and Maintaining the Smart 3D Projects Servers, Database Servers, Rule Service Servers, and Interference Servers; (3) knowledge of Smart Plant 3D architecture, schema and database, Configure and develop rule-based specifications & catalog for Piping, Electrical, Equipment, HVAC tasks in Smart Plant 3D. Finally, 3 years of experience stated herein to involve troubleshoot and Configure Rule Checker rules, Command line task runner rules and custom commands that process and compute 3D objects using Smart Plant 3D Rule Checker and Command Line task runner services.
