Machine Integration Lead

Job Description

This person will:​

• Collaborate with a team to fabricate and integrate mechanical and electrical elements into CNC machines, using hands-on assembly skills, cutting, and machining techniques.

• Integrate electronic components such as sensors, wiring, and control systems into the machine

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate construction and assembly.

• Operate various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, bend, and shape metal and other materials.

• Work with engineers and designers to develop and refine prototypes and improve functionality.

• Conduct functional tests on completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during fabrication and assembly.

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in an organized and efficient manner.

Experience Needed:​​

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience with CNC machines and in machining, fabrication, machine building, or related fields.

• Experience with line-level and low voltage wiring, microcontrollers, and sensor integration.

• Skilled in using machine tools, such as lathes, mills, and CNC plasma and router equipment (preferred).

• Skilled in soldering (preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Must have good manual dexterity, ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various positions

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
