Job Description
This is a full-time role for a Residential Flooring Sales Specialist. This position is salary + Commission. You will be responsible for selling flooring to Builders & Remodelers, plus assisting their customer with selecting the best materials that meet their aesthetic, budget, and functionality requirements.
Day-to-day tasks
- Cold call and meet with Home Builders and remodelers
- Measuring and performing take offs either physical or electronic blue print
- Utilizing company software to prepare quotes
- Expert guidance, recommending suitable products.
- Order, Track, and communicate for all necessary products
- Coordinate with warehouse and builder for delivery
- Strive for a 100% satisfaction rate
Qualifications
- Knowledge in different types of flooring materials, such as Porcelain Panels, LVT/LVP, Carpet, & Pre Finished Wood.
- Sales experience, including lead generation, customer engagement, closing deals, and managing customer expectations
- Self-motivated with limited direction to achieve personal sales goals
- Ability to learn and use specialized flooring sales software for quoting, tracking, and customer relationship
- Professionalism, maintaining a polished appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong ability to measure prints, create floor plans, and suggest flooring options
- Desire to achieve goals and consistently exceed the customers expectations
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple builders with multiple project needs and customer orders simultaneously.
