Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Policy, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Social Services, or other degree, or experience in these areas, or a combination of education and experience to equal four years
  • Ability to relate well with people in person and on the phone
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet multiple, concurrent deadlines
  • Demonstrated skills working with relevant computers programs required
  • Work independently as well as be a productive member of a team
  • Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s requirements may be required depending on job assignment
  • Communicate positively and effectively with others
  • Basic proficiency in math
  • Effective utilization of basic office technology

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the Utilization Review / Quality Improvement / Accreditation / Auditing efforts of the organization through review of completed administrative services in the Electronic Health Record, completes special projects for areas across the organization.  Maintain a current knowledge base of Staff roles/functions, policies and procedures, forms and their application, and provide support for Four County Mental Health Center’s programs.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist in managing utilization review process, conducting standard utilization review activities and completing associated workflows, as well as reviewing potential restricted charts for unauthorized access
  2. Assist in managing completion/submission of required documentation for CMHC and CCBHC licensure renewals, including required updates/reviews and MOU/Care Coordination agreements with community partners/organizations
  3. Assists QI/UR Director in reviewing and responding to audits from MCOs
  4. Assists QI/UR Director in reviewing, investigating, and responding to quality management tasks
  5. Assists QI/UR Director in updating core policies and procedures in policy management software

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Any deviations to the work schedule and all overtime must be approved in advance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
