Full-time 10 Month Position (August 1 – May 31)

Evening hours to be determined, Wednesday - Sunday

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Campus Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and

security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors by conducting routine patrols,

responding to emergencies, enforcing college rules, de-escalation of potential

problems, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with good driving record,

CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, previous law enforcement,

military or security experience desirable. Must have strong communication

skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus

SALARY: Hourly wages dependent upon education and experience. Excellent benefit
