DescriptionThe Customer Service Representative plays a vital role as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, and potential adopters at the Junction City Animal Shelter. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing excellent service to the public while supporting the day-to-day operations of the shelter.
Examples of Duties

Public interaction:
- Greeting all visitors warmly and professionally.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Provide general information about shelter services, animals, and adoption process.

Administrative Services:
- Perform data entry related to animal intake, adoptions, and volunteer information.
- Maintain accurate records and files both digitally and physically.
- Assist with preparing and organizing paperwork, forms, and reports.

Housekeeping and Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the front desk and public areas are clean, welcoming, and stocked with materials.
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and organizing supplies.
- Alert staff to maintenance or supply needs as necessary.

Team Collaboration:
- Work Closely with shelter staff and volunteers to support a safe and efficient environment.
- Assist during events or special projects as needed.
- Assist in other tasks when needed.
