Responsibilities:
• Receive commercial blueprints and upload into RFMS measure software.
• Learn to prepare accurate flooring estimates, including materials, labor, and costs.
• Review project specifications to ensure every detail is covered.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to keep projects on track.
• Proactively identify solutions to potential challenges in designs or plans.
• Master managing project changes and communicating updates effectively.
Requirements
• Knowledge of the construction industry and processes.
• A strong willingness to learn and grow in the estimating role.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and team members effectively.
• Great organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
It is Helpful to Have:
• Experience as an estimator or in a related field.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and other relevant tools.
• Familiarity with blueprints or an understanding of the commercial construction process.
• Knowledge of flooring products or installation processes.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
