Job Description
Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. Our Wichita location is seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player who takes initiative and is ready to support our drivers in delivering materials safely and efficiently to customer jobsites.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in preparing materials for delivery
- Properly load and unload materials at customer jobsites
- Follow driver instructions and delivery routes
- Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Requirements
- Authorized to work permanently in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs repeatedly and team lift up to 100 lbs
- Willingness to follow all PPE and safety protocols
- Availability to work overtime as needed
