The Role You’ll Play – Client Account Representative
As a Client Account Rep, you'll manage a high volume of client accounts, working with various payer sources to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims. You’ll be an essential part of the team that keeps our revenue cycle flowing smoothly and helps clients stay informed and supported through the billing process.
What You’ll Do
- Retrieve Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) within 5 days of receipt and apply outcomes to client accounts
- Convert progress notes into accurate claims, resolve related errors, and ensure timely claim submission
- Research and respond to client and insurance inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Follow up on unpaid claims, manage aging account reports, and follow agency procedures for collections
- Audit and correct duplicate claims to ensure multiple services are submitted as a single claim
- Generate and distribute missing note reports weekly, and respond to staff questions as needed
- Verify and update insurance information in client records to maintain billing accuracy
- Present problem or delinquent accounts to leadership when appropriate
