What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is looking for a Marketing Coordinator in the Overland Park office to perform various activities related to environmental consulting. The Marketing Coordinator will support the business development needs of their assigned Business Unit. You will coordinate, write, edit, and produce qualification statements, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials. You will also support the marketing team with marketing research, data collection, and inputting marketing and sales data into the accounting database. This position can be FT on-site or hybrid in Overland Park, with a preference for in person as much as possible.

How you can make an impact

Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of all marketing, business development, and pursuit strategies.
Ensure all projects are designed and delivered with the purpose of meeting the Client's business objectives.
Participate in go/no-go meetings and assist in evaluating pursuit feasibility.
Support the preparation and completion of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including content development, formatting, and submission logistics.
Collaborate with management, technical personnel, and graphic designers to support marketing, business development and pursuit activities.
Coordinate logistics for industry conferences and trade shows, including booth reservations, shipping, and swag management
Assisting in managing event calendars, registration, and pre/post-event follow-up activities.
Support the development of marketing materials and presentations for events.
Prepare press releases,, and develop submissions to award competitions.
Assist in organizing special events.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support marketing, business developoment, and pursuit efforts.
Maintain databases and internal content files such as images, resumes, tables, client evaluations, etc.
Maintain proposal tracking systems and ensure compliance and ROI.
Collect and input marketing and sales data into the computerized company tracking system-VantagePoint-on a regular basis.
Provide recommendations and plans to contribute to the optimization of marketing strategies.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or Communications, or preferred.
Up to three years f relevant experience preferably with an engineering, architecture, or construction firm, is preferred.
1 year of professional writing experience required; preferably for an engineering, architectural, or construction firm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with proposal production tools and processes prefererd.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.
Valid Driver's License.

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
