Job Description
Hartford Sand and Gravel is seeking a general laborer to assist with various aggregate material, construction, and physical duties at their Manhattan, KS location. Applicant may also have the opportunity to be trained and promoted to a Heavy Equipment Operator position based on performance.
Responsibilities are not limited to, but may include:
- Varying duties dependent on applicant experience, ability, and needs of the work site.
- Set up, tear down, move, and/or inspect equipment prior to operation. May lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools as needed.
- Digging, heavy lifting, loading or unloading aggregate materials and/or equipment onto scales, machinery, or trucks for transport.
- Other general construction, carpentry, painting, or physical duties may be required, as assigned by management.
