Entry Level- Architectural / Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (Buildings Group)The Buildings Group at GBA is welcoming entry level engineers to join our team! The buildings group has two primary markets: Life Sciences and Mission Critical. This opportunity is in Lenexa, KS, Broomfield, CO, and Cary, NC.
Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry.
Mission Critical specializes in many of the top Information Technology companies. Our team in Mission Critical will work on the design of mechanical/electrical systems for data center, telecommunications, and industrial facilities.
Both groups offer the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical Engineers
Design various mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, steam, hot water, and compressed air
Prepare construction documents for various mechanical systems
Review shop drawings and RFI•s
Verification of permitting and code requirements
Assist with facility evaluation and engineering studies
Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning
Electrical Engineers
Electrical power systems design including switchboards, generators, ATS•s and UPS•s for data center and telecommunications facilities
Facility evaluations, engineering studies, and trouble shooting
Arc Flash, coordination, and short circuit studies
Interior and exterior lighting design
Commissioning
Architectural Engineers are valued in either group. We can determine individual interest through conversation during the interview process.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred
2.7 GPA strongly preferred
Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
