Job Description
Systems AnalystGBA•s accounting group has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst to handle administering and managing multiple accounting systems and serving as a liaison between internal company leaders and staff and the accounting team related to system and process matters. This position will report directly to the Controller. A successful candidate should have a strong accounting systems and general accounting foundation, advanced project management and analytical skills, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administering and managing multiple accounting systems
- Assist with new system and process implementations, upgrades, and conversions
- Work with internal and external IT resources
- Provide systems support to accounting and finance staff
- Assist with acquisition and entity reorganization integration and management
- Assist with new business needs relating to accounting systems
- Encourage continuous process improvements to support changing company operations
- Other special projects and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor•s degree in Accounting or Information Systems
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the Engineering, Professional Services, or Construction industries considered a plus
- Must be a collaborative, team player who is organized and self-motivated
- Strong, proven influential interpersonal communication skills with all levels of an organization
- Customer oriented, responsive approach
- Background and credit check will be performed
- Limited travel
